Rhumerie de Chamarel, located in the Southwestern part of the island, not too far from the famous ''Seven Coloured Earths of Chamarel'', lies 300 metres above the shore in a rich valley having its unique microclimate. It includes a Distillery and an agricultural plantation on an environmental-friendly estate, making it a genuinely unique tourist attraction. The road leading to the place is filled on either side by large plantations of sugarcane, Victoria pineapples, Royal palms and other fruits. Two mountain reserves are also reserved for the breeding of deer. The Rhumerie de Chamarel is now proposing a package where customers are invited to visit the property, to rum tasting and choose to have lunch afterwards at L'Alchimiste Restaurant (which has up to 80 covers).

    • Any request for a postponement is not guaranteed and must be notified at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date

      • Policy on No-Shows:

        • There are no cancellations after a booking has been confirmed

        • No-shows will be charged the full fee; no refunds, rescheduling, or re-booking will be permitted
