Le Domaine des Aubineaux, located in Forest-Side, some minutes away from the town of Curepipe, invites friends and families to come and discover its rich history, dating back to the colonial days. Built in 1872, this lovely mansion is tucked away in a wide space full of plants and tall trees. Full of furniture and paintings, each being nowadays living memories of that time, it has since been turned into a museum. A Restaurant has even opened on-site, in 2008. A rich programme (detailed below) awaits!

What's Included:

• Activity Time: Everyday, as from 09h00 up to 17h00 (closed on Sundays)

• Lunch Time: as from 12h00 up to 14h00

• Duration of the Package: 1 to 2 Hours

Details of Activity:

• A tour of the Domaine with a guide

• Visit to a colonial Mansion-turned-museum (which was built in 1872)

• Take a stroll through the garden Le Parc Floral

• Visit to La Maison des Essences (which is an Oil Distillation factory)

• Learn about the Tea Industry in Mauritius while contemplating a beautiful selection (from a rich collection) of the colonial houses

• Visit the Camphor Tree garden, a visit of the endemic forest and enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Tea plantation

• Visit of the old Stable-turned-distillery (where the secrets of the distillation of Essential oils will be shared)

General Conditions:

• Offer is applicable for Mauritian or Resident with a permit

• It is NOT advisable for toddlers (0-4 years old) to visit the factories. The Management CANNOT be held responsible for any accident that may happen

• All customers must provide a Mauritian ID card or Resident permission upon arrival; failure to do so entitles the business to charge the current public rate

• Toddlers / Infants: from 0-4 years old enter free

• Children: from 5-12 years old

• Policy on Postponement:

• Any request for a postponement is not guaranteed and must be notified at least 48 hours before the arrival date

• Policy on No-Shows:

• There are no cancellations after a booking has been confirmed

• No-shows will be charged the full fee; no refunds, rescheduling, or re-booking will be permitted
