Ki Pou Kwi cooking class | Le Domaine des Aubineaux

Not too distant from the main town of Curepipe lies the Domaine des Aubineaux, a Colonial House built in 1872. Indoors, the rustic aspect and the antique furnitures makes its beauty, while outdoors the many different trees are kings. The Domaine is inviting customers to its Ki Pou Kwi package. This consists of learning and preparing typical Mauritian cuisine under the supervision of the resident Chef. Customers will be divided into teams and given a list of ingredients to buy at the market to use into their recipes. A fine cooking class that will serve each customer, later on, when they will try and reproduce what they have learnt into their own kitchens.

What's Included:

• Package Time: Mondays to Sundays, as from 09h00 up to 14h00

• Duration: 6 Hours

• Breakfast: at the Restaurant (served with either Bois Chéri Tea  OR  Ice Tea  OR a Juice)

• Visit of the Market (to buy ingredients)

• Cooking Class with the resident Chef

• Lunch: will be prepared by the customers themselves

• Visit of the Colonial House and the Domaine des Aubineaux property

• Drinks: Saint Aubin Rum (at the end of package)

• Customers must come in their own vehicles, which they will use to go to the market and back to the Domaine

• Maximum number of customers for this cooking class is 15 people

• Drinks that are not included in this offer are payable at the Restaurant

• Reservation should be done one week in advance, either by phone or email

• The merchant is solely liable to the buyer for the care and quality of the advertised products and services

• All clients must provide a Mauritian ID card or Resident permission upon arrival; failure to do so entitles the business to charge the current public rate

• Policy on Postponement:

• Any request for a postponement is not guaranteed and must be notified at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date

• Policy on No-Shows:

• There are no cancellations after a booking has been confirmed

• No-shows will be charged the full fee; no refunds, rescheduling, or re-booking will be permitted
